From now on, all documents of Telia business clients can be managed electronically. Telia is the first telecommunications company in Lithuania offering to sign agreements with qualified electronic signatures.
“As more and more of our lives is transferred to electronic space and mobile devices, we have to guarantee that the process of client service meets nowadays needs – is quick, secure and can be managed with only a few clicks. Digital client services and electronic documents signing is a common business practice in the world that we want to enhance in Lithuania too”, says Mindaugas Ubartas, Head of Business Clients at Telia.
According to him, e-signing using mobile signature in Lithuania have a big potential. “It is important that more and more people got accustomed to using this especially secure solution. Therefore, from now on all Telia mobile service plans for businesses include mobile signature and current SIM cards without m. signatures can be replaced for free”, M. Ubartas says.
For digitalisation process, Telia cooperates with Dokobit. According to Head of Business Development at Dokobit Gintas Balciunas, companies in Lithuania and other European countries choose to sign documents with electronic signature more and more frequently because it shortens the process, guarantees the integrity of of documents, and helps to reduce costs.
“We create solutions that allow any size companies to sign agreements online and it doesn’t require big investments. We believe that our cooperation will allow for both Telia and its clients to work smarter and more effectively”, G. Balciunas says.
Currently, Telia provides services for more than 40,000 companies in Lithuania.
